Working in a team with 3 other researchers, I spent a semester conducting a UX analysis Photoshop for web. We worked to uncover the issues that lead to user frustration, aiming to give our data-driven recommendations for making the Photoshop interface more approachable and intuitive, especially for beginner users.
Insights
This research experience really helped me gain a better understanding of user interaction and techniques to study behavior that lead to useful data.
What a participant tells you is important, but what insights can you gain from their behavior? What are people thinking and not saying? This is often where the most valuable insights lie.
