Overview of my role at UCM
June 2025–Present
Project management, client work, brand auditing, competitive research
Brand Director: John Rizzo
I'm a Graphic Design intern for Miami University's Marketing and Communications, where I work within brand guidelines to complete projects
for campus clients.
Some projects I’ve worked on recently have included
Auditing digital assets to ensure consistency across departments
Planning restructuring of internal website to improve onboarding experience for new student workers
Brand research of MAC schools to inform Miami athletics dept. design decisions
Along with experience in asset management, research, and brand hygiene,
I've worked on many design projects! Below is one of design projects in which
I played a leading role, an athletics animation.
Cradle of Coaches Animation
Motion graphics, After Effects
Collaborators: Rachel Kraimer
Miami University was nicknamed “The Cradle of Coaches” because of its
history of producing successful coaches, especially in football.
I worked on a 30 second animation to be played during a Cradle of Coaches themed football game to show audience members how to use an interactive NFC patch. I specifically worked on the intro and outro.
Making adjustments to template

Cradle of Coaches patch and packaging
For this project, I started with a template from an animation created
by Rachel Kraimer, which was made for a football game last year that spotlighted Miami's Western College.
I was asked to use her animation as a base and update the colors,
content, and graphics for the Cradle of Coaches. Along with making
these adjustments, I also created a completely new intro and outro.
Original next to updated animation
I opted to add a light gradient and pattern in the background to help
the patch come forward a bit more against the dark grey.
Animating the intro: first, second, and third iteration
Block out main elements and timing
Smooth transitions and play with text animation
Stagger animate-in by letter, polish transitions and timing
Final Animation
It was super cool to see my work on the jumbotron during the game!

Here's the full 30 second animation!
